It has come to my attention that we are not allowed to play a CB at FS. I think this is and should be a perfectly fine move. NFL teams convert older/slower CBs to FS in an attempt to keep a guy with good coverage skills on the field.
Now I'm not saying we should be able to take a rookie CB who has 96 speed and A potential and throw him back at free safety. But if you have a corner with safety speed, 85-90, I don't see why there should be an issue.
It doesn't give you any more of an advantage AND its something that happens in real life. Just throwing it out there.

I agree with you.

This is something that is always debated in leagues. I'm 100% okay with it, but I think the speed cap needs to be pretty restrictive, as well as putting an age restriction on it as well.
Safeties in general do not typically have good man to man coverage skills. Elite ones do but only the elite. Just about any CB you move back there is going to have excellent man to man skills.
My proposal:
Speed - 85 and under Age - 29 and over.

I think that proposal is perfectly fine.

I like that idea. In another franchise I was the Vikings and moved Antoine Winfield to SS when his speed dipped to 84.
