Dallas Cowboys
It has been 17 years since America's team has won the Super Bowl, dating back to 1995. Besides the T.O. era, and the new Billion dollar playpin, there has been nothing really exciting about the Cowboys during that time span. They did however manage to pull off one of the worst trades in NFL history, acquiring WR Roy Williams in exchange for their entire draft, who turned out not to be worth buffalo nickel.
The core of this team has talent, and was built by Mr. Bill Parcells. But their time and the Cowboys time is running out, as these players are getting older. In previous years the Cowboys defense has been horrible, and the pass rush has been nonexistent outside one DeMarcus Ware. So the Cowboys, now under new ownership, have made some big changes in hopes of getting that sixth championship ring! And it all starts with the defense.
Key Additions
LE Antwan Campbell - 1st round draft pick
DT Jon Holmes - 2nd round draft pick
HB Jarratt Patterson - 3rd round draft pick
FS Nick Collins - Acquired in trade with Packers
MLB Stephan Tulloch - FA
CB Bradnon Carr - FA
C Lyle Sendlein - FA
CB Cary Williams - FA
MLB Dan Connor - FA
QB Kyle Orton - FA
FB Lawrence Vickers - FA
WR Brian Robiskie - FA
LG Mackenzy Bernadeau - FA
LG Nate Livings - FA
Key Departures
RB DeMarco Murray - Traded to Packers. This was a tough call. Murray is very young with loads of talent. But with former first round pick Felix Jones on the team, Murray become expendable in exchange for one of the top safeties in the game.
WR Laurent Robinson - Signed with Jags. Wanted the big money
MLB Bradie James - Had a nice run, but was not resigned
MLB Keith Brooking - Loved his attitude, but the dude was to old
TE Martelleous Bennett - Was a bust in Dallas, signed with the NYG
Team Strengths
Playmakers on both sides. No team has a better WR tandem than Miles and Dez. Explosive RB in Felix Jones, and a QB that can make all the throws. Good pass rushers and a very strong LB core.
Team weaknesses.
Average Oline, star players are getting old

Depth Chart
QB - Romo: Not the best, not the worst. He plays hard and has the the heart/talent to win a championship
QB - Orton: Should serve as a very good backup to Romo
RB - Felix Jones: The former first round pick will finally be given the keys now that DeMarco is gone
RB - Patterson: Acquired in the draft for depth at the RB position
FB - Vickers: He was the guy running in front of Mr. Arian Foster (Australian for beer) in Houston. Should be a nice addition
WR - Austin: Still the number 1 WR on the team and Romo's go to guy.
WR - Bryant: One of the most talented young WR's in the game. The sky is the limit.
WR - Robiskie: Will work the slot.
WR - Olgletree: Has never panned out like the Cowboys wanted
TE - Witten: Still one of the best.
TE - Phillips: Good blocking TE, looks like a mini Witten

DT - Ratliff: Converting as a 4-3 DT. Mr. Ratliff has the skills to do it.
DT - Holmes: Drafted to stuff the run
LE - Campbell: Drafted to boost the pass rush. He's very quick and has stud written all over him

MLB - S. Lee: Entering his prime. He's among the best in the buisness.
MLB - Carter: Will serve as the nickel MLB, one of the fastest LB in the game
MLB - Connor: Acquired in FA. This guy could be starting for another team, but will provide amazing depth

CB - Brandon Carr: He was brought in as a coverage corner. Was the best CB in FA, and will be given his chance to start
CB - Terrance Newman: Getting up their in age, but still has elite speed. He will rotate around and will play the nickel spot
CB - Jenkins: A semi bust, Jenkins was drafted in the first round a few years ago, and is now 3rd on the depth chart.
CB - Williams: Young corner with good coverage skills. Will be taking Newmans spot very soon
FS - Collins: Acquired in a big trade with the Packers. You have Ed Reed, then this guy. Cowboys finally get a safety
SS - Elam: Barely won the job over Pool.
