If I am recounting things correctly, here is the process that is visible to you guys (by that I mean there is some stuff behind the scenes that goes on but this is what you'll have to be concerned with). Remember that EVERY move must be made on the XFN site. Only make changes on the console if I explicitly tell you to do so but even that should be in pretty rare instances. If you need help on XFN, let me know.
1.Playoffs are being played and reported. Nothing out of the ordinary needs to happen.
2.The Superbowl is played and synchronized. On the console, we do not advance the league.
3.We advance the league on XFN. Everyone must trim their rosters to 47 players. Some considerations: 1.You must be at 47 players before we advance to the next stage.
2.Must follow the roster requirements for each position posted here. If you cannot meet those requirements you must sign a "dummy" player, which you will use as a placeholder until you sign a player you actually want during the normal free agency period.
3.New contracts given to players must not exceed 3 years. If I find that a player was erroneously given a longer contract, they will be released into Unrestricted Free Agency as penalty after the draft.
4.Trades CANNOT be consummated during this time period. They can be proposed but not accepted. Any new trades made during this time will have to be explicitly reported to me so that I can ensure they are finalized BEFORE the draft.
4.We advance on the console simulating the console draft - this will advance us to week 1 on the console but it is of the UTMOST importance that you do not play your games or do anything on the console at this time.
5.We advance XFN, opening up "Restricted Free Agency." We will use this time to allow teams to make decisions on how to shape their rosters. XFN is going to tell you which players need re-signed and which players remain under contract. 1.You STILL must be at 47 players or less prior to the draft.

6.RFA closes and any unsigned players are dropped into free agency.
7.We synchronize and advance XFN again, preparing the system for the draft. Trades can now be finalized and accepted. I will force approve any previously agreed to trades as long as I am made aware of them on the forum or otherwise.
8.Draft using XFN Console. 1.2 minutes per pick in rounds 1 and 2. 60 seconds for round 3, 30 seconds for rounds 4-7.
2.I will manually be selecting players for the CPU teams and USER teams that do not have an owner present at the draft. I will be speaking with everyone in the offseason chat about which players those teams should draft (we're trying to be fair).
3.If you cannot attend the draft I will be accepting, via PM or text, your draft board or draft selections. Realize that I'm only 1 person and if I have to manage 5 of these it will be extremely difficult. One or two is generally no problem but if it begins to be more than that, its very difficult for me. Please keep this in mind.
9.Draft ends. Sign rookies period. 1.Rookies also can only be signed to 3 years deals at max. Again if I find that this is not the case, the player will be released into unrestricted free agency.
2.If rookies are not signed by the deadline (we usually give about 24 hours to do this), you will be forced to accepted whatever decisions I make for your team.
10.Unrestricted Free Agency opens. 1.Go to Front Office then FA Bidding to find the player you want
2.Click the + sign next to the player, just like you always have, to try and sign them.
3.Negotiate proper terms with the player.
4.You cannot negotiate the amount of years, the player/overall determines this.
5.You will see the highest bid next to the player in the FA Bidding screen - this should be anonymous
6.We will close the first free agency within a 2 hour window. It is set within a range to avoid "sniping." If we set it to a hard date/time, everyone would wait until the very last moment to try to get a bid in. This is unavoidable.
7.We close bid period 1, assign the bid winners to their teams, then re-open free agency for an identical bid period 2 to continue more free agency signings. Don't forget to drop your "dummy" free agents during this time period. Once we close bid period 2, we generally open free agency to run on a first come, first serve basis.
